Weekday Services

Prayer is for every day, and GJC supports a weekday minyan service, including Torah reading when appropriate, Sunday through Friday mornings throughout the year.  Currently, services are being held virtually. The service is led by one of our rabbis or a member volunteer, and there is a short teaching at the end of each service to provide food for thought for the day.  Our weekday minyan regulars are a friendly group, and the minyan provides a relaxed and welcoming environment in which to pray, to learn prayer skills, and, for those in mourning or marking a yahrzeit, to recite the Mourner’s Kaddish with a supportive community.  Come join us!

Sunday Morning Minyan begins at 9:00 AM.
Monday through Friday Morning Minyan begins at 7:15 AM. Please note that on days with Hallel (Rosh Hodesh, Hol ha-Mo’ed, and Hanukah) and certain other days (Tish’ah b’Av, Purim), we begin at 7:00 AM.

  • PLEASE NOTE: Links to services and events are not posted here. Rather, daily and weekly schedules with links are emailed to our member listserv. If you are not a GJC member but would like to receive these emails, please contact Program & Membership Director Kate Lawn at program@germantownjewishcentre.org to be added to our list.
