Men's Club Day at JRA

On Sunday, April 2nd, volunteers of all ages and backgrounds meet as a community at JRA's northeast Philadelphia warehouse (10980 Dutton Road, adjacent to the NE Airport). Volunteers pack over 3000 boxes with fresh produce and non-perishable kosher food, and deliver food and a smile into the homes of those in need.  See: https://www.jewishrelief.org.  All of these food packing events are important to those in need, but this one which will include matzah and other Passover foods, has particular significance.

HAZAK Program: AGAINST TIME: LETTERS FROM NAZI GERMANY, 1938-1939 with author Francis W. Hoeber

Join Hazak as transcriber Francis W. Hoeber presents a body of work near and dear to his heart.  In the late 1980s, Hoeber discovered a packet of letters in the back of a filing cabinet in his house, which had never been open. They were yellowed, typed and handwritten wrinkled pages, in German, dated 1938 and 1939.
