HAZAK Shabbat Afternoon Program
The Future of Public Transit in Metropolitan Philadelphia
April 20, 2024 at 1:00 PM, following lunch
Since 1884, the Chestnut Hill West has served many of the neighborhoods in Northwest Philadelphia, including the Mt. Airy community surrounding GJC. Now, this rail line and many others are in danger of closing down due to steep budget shortfalls at SEPTA. To understand the depth of the problem, and to get a sense of the future of public transportation in the communities in and around Philadelphia, please join HAZAK as they host Erik Johanson, Senior Director of Budgets & Transformation for SEPTA, on HAZAK Shabbat, Saturday, April 20, 2024. Mr. Johanson will join us at about 1 pm in the Charry sanctuary following Shabbat services and a luncheon.
