Morning Minyan & Magil Chapel Torah Dedication

Magil Chapel Torah Mantle Dedication
Morning Minyan & Dedication: 9:00 AM
Light Kiddush & Photo Opportunity: 10:15-11:30 AM

Torah is at the heart of the GJC community. The handwoven mantles that have graced GJC's Torah scrolls since the time of Rabbi Charry of blessed memory were the product of this community and spoke to our members' love of Torah. This year we are transitioning to new mantles, the product of our present community. These mantles, with a new design that speaks to the values that guide us, will continue to strengthen our deep connection to Torah for decades to come. Please join friends and family in the Magil Chapel as we dedicate new mantles for the Torah scrolls used there, connecting past, present, and future, and thanking all of the donors and volunteers who have been a part of this significant moment. All are invited to the Charry Lobby for breakfast following services, and there will then be opportunities to take photos of the new mantles in both the Magil Chapel and the Charry Sanctuary.

*There are beautiful photo albums of the Torah mantle history for sale ($36) in The Little Shop, and there are three copies in the library for your perusal!
