THERE'S A PLACE FOR YOU IN TIKKUN OLAM @GJC!

Join members of GJC's Tikkun Olam Coordinating Team in Germantown Jewish Centre's Maslow Auditorium to learn more!

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 9 AT 12:00 PM

Please note the time change for this informative discussion:  it was originally scheduled for 9:00 AM, but has been rescheduled to 12:00 PM.  Due to the weather, the information session will not be held on the front lawn, but in the Maslow Auditorium.

• Are you wondering what's different about the new Tikkun [email protected]?

• Think you might be interested but don't exactly know what your options are or how to get involved?

• Have an idea for a new Tikkun Olam activity and wonder how to put it into action?

• College student home for the break?  Busy parent?  Working part-time, full-time or in between jobs?  Retired and looking for ways to connect?  There are opportunities for involvement no matter what stage of life you're in!

At Germantown Jewish Centre we believe that Tikkun Olam (repairing the world) is central to our identity as a Jewish community. Our mission is to engage our diverse membership in Tikkun Olam both within the Jewish community and in the broader interfaith world of the Philadelphia region and beyond. Through learning, serving others and advocating for change, Tikkun Olam @GJC offers members a variety of ways to get involved that reflect their interests and skills and accommodate the demands of work and family commitments. Our aspiration is to infuse the entire synagogue with increasing awareness of how we can fulfill the Jewish imperative to "pursue justice" (Deuteronomy 16:20).
