Interfaith Families

Welcoming Interfaith Families at GJC

For my house will be a house of worship for all peoples.
– Isaiah 56:7

We honor the distinct journey each of us has taken to arrive at this community, and happily invite your entire family to participate in the life of our congregation.

We welcome all individuals and families who wish to connect with Judaism.

  • Those that grew up Jewish, and are hoping to once again connect with a Jewish community
  • Those that did not grow up Jewish, but are now part of a Jewish family, and are now raising Jewish children
  • Those that did not grow up Jewish, but are interested in exploring Judaism as a path

Whatever your story may be, we are happy to welcome you. We are proud of our diverse community and value each of our families for who they are. We respect the process each household goes through to make religious choices and are delighted that you have come through our doors. If you have questions or concerns please seek us out, as we are eager to join you on your spiritual path, wherever it may lead. You can reach Rabbi Zeff at rabbi (at) germantownjewishcentre.org.

All are welcome at GJC.
