Rabbi Gordon represents the Conservative Movement on the Religious Leaders Council of Greater Philadelphia, a new five-county wide body that brings together the leaders of the Jewish, Moslem, and Christian communities. Among the leaders in the photo (taken April 16 at the Lutheran Theological Seminary) are Cardinal Regali, the leader of the Catholic Church, and former Mayor Wilson Goode. The group will begin its work by addressing the problem of gun violence in our city. The meeting took place the same day as the shootings at Virginia Tech.
